Description
Team Support Coordinator (Billing)
NREIG is seeking a dynamic, organized, collaborative and service-driven, full-time Team Support Coordinator on our KC based Billing team. Coordinators support the Billing team by processing client payments, working the shared billing inbox, and answering client phone calls — helping ensure timely payment of client accounts receivable and a smooth experience for every client.
What you'll do:
- Payment Processing: process client payments through credit card, ACH/electronic transfer, check scanning, and other approved payment methods; record payments accurately and flag discrepancies to a Billing Specialist or the Billing Manager.
- Shared Inbox & Phones: work the shared client service inbox, responding to billing-related requests promptly and professionally; answer client phone calls to resolve billing questions; escalate complex items to Billing Specialists or the Billing Manager.
- Team Support & Collaboration: assist with sending escrow billing to lenders for renewals; assist Billing Specialists with large client requests as needed; protect the confidentiality of all information learned in the role; communicate in a positive manner and contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work environment.
What you bring:
- Tech savviness with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Organized with a high attention to detail; able to transition between tasks seamlessly
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle a heavy workload
- Tact and diplomacy when working with clients; client service experience a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
